In January of 2006, Scotty Sweatt, President and Founder of The Little Guy, LLC began marketing templated software designed to allow smaller organizations to obtain a webpresence in a market that was experiencing an unprecidented turn towards the internet, even for small town "Mom & Pop" businesses, if they weren't able to be "Googled", in many cases they were missing out.

Scotty based his newly found enterprise in his hometown of Hope MIlls, NC, a small, but rapidly growing town in southeastern North Carolina. Hope Mills became the model for all that was to follow, since he realized that the same issues that effect Hope MIlls, would likewise apply to other small towns in Anytown, USA.

The name "The Little Guy" was adopted and registered to highlight the target customer group that the company would work for, and with. Partnering with other small businesses in "collaboration" long before it became the new 'buzz word', The Little Guy would make a difference by serving "The Little Guys", not by running over them.

When deciding on a logo as to what should be the face of The Little Guy, Scotty consulted with his management team, which at that time was composed of his wife, Vice President Donna Sweatt. After several ideas that didn't quite hit the mark, a glimpse at the pre-K school photo of their son said it all. If they were going to represent "The Little Guys", what better little guy to make the pitch than the cutest one of all, their "Little Guy".

The boy became a cartoon and with his signature "half-cocked" baseball cap, The Little Guy logo was born.

During the next several years, The Little Guy took an intense customer-oriented approach as we continued to evolve and find our identity. Through answering customer needs, our services have evolved into a multifaceted, open-ended offering of technology services to provide for the needs of those who may not be utilizing technology, and subsequently are being left behind.

During this time, our company has grown to offer video conferencing solutions, satellite communications, A/V integration, pro audio, technology procurement, managed services, computer repair and optimization and a host of other services, driven by customer needs and customer demand.

The strategic partnerships that we have formed have given us capabilities that allow us to handle the needs of the smallest non-profit organization, as well as larger enterprises and government applications.
