is a program designed to use visual communications to provide access to quality education, vocational assistance and health services and quality of life to children and adults in Indian Country.
The program utilizes video conferencing and tele- presence technology to bring subject matter experts, teachers, staff development consultants, medical specialists, vocational trainers, councilors and much more, where they are needed the most.
Additionally, the program focuses on projects that can be done using available grant funding and provides assistance with finding the right grant or funding source for the project, and the technical expertise to write competitive grants.
Imagine the ability to bring in resources to the most rural or isolated of areas from anywhere in the world. The possibilities are endless. Conduct a virtual field trip in live-time with a diver on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, take a cultural exchange trip to people living across the country or through the United Nations to a group of student from across the Atlantic, bring medical specialists from major U.S. facilities or from across the world to your tribal clinic, provide job seekers with training from vocational programs in other states, add mental health counseling to your list of medical services from counselors from around the country. What can be imagined can likely be achieved. |
